Saint Joseph's Home was opened in May of 1991 and is located on 12 acres in central Jefferson County. Our home accommodates fifty Residents requiring care in the areas of personal and nursing care. The Little Sisters are assisted by nurses, CNAs and CMTs licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Residents enjoy a full range of activities and excellent care. The beautiful trees and grounds around the property bordering a residential neighborhood contribute to even more of a homelike environment.
Residents who are still very independent, reside in the Jeanne Jugan Residence part of our home. It is a three story building that adjoins the rest of St. Joseph's Home. The Residence has thirty apartment units equipped with a kitchen, dining area, living room, bathroom and bedroom. Many have their own automobile and go out daily as they wish. The building is equipped with a party room where Residents may hold family gatherings or other activities. |
